3 Amazing Fashion Week Trends From Milan

Fashion Week has come to a close, but the trends from the Fall 2016 runway have left lasting impressions on fashionistas across the world. Italian fashion designers such as Salvatore Ferragamo and Giorgio Armani brought world-class style to Milan and inspired all of our imaginations. Although several trends reappeared from last year, the returning styles seem to have matured gracefully over time. Ultimately, the experience was enjoyable and uplifting for everyone who made it to Italy for the fabulous shows.

Here are three of our favorite trends from the Milan Fashion Week:

Unfussy Florals

Blumarine took one of our all-time favorite trends and proved that florals do not have to be fussy. The embroidered flowers on her pant leg create a wonderful accent that rounds out the bright floral designs on her blouse. This clever combination of denim and flower adds an enjoyable dab of durability and comfort to the delicate design. Although this outfit is part of the Fall 2016 collection, we feel it would be a fun addition to anyone’s Winter to Spring transitional wardrobe.

Lush Velvet

We agree with Fashionista.com’s Alyssa Vingan Klein, who recently said, ”If you didn’t get down with the velvet trend last year, you may want to reconsider, as it’s back in a big way for fall.” Italian fashion designer, Giorgio Armani made a very loud – but smooth – statement with the luxurious appeal of his stunning black dress. After the warm response it received this year, we expect to see much more velvet on the runway in the near future.

Rainbow Brights

Salvatore Ferragamo gets it. His bold decision to mix loud colors in sharp designs certainly paid off for his Fall collection. We absolutely adore the use of white and black to calm the vibrant hues in the center of this wonderful dress. The innate elegance and appeal of the color combination has stood the test of time. That’s why we are confident that any earrings from our collection, Glam Noir, will work perfectly with an outfit of the same style.

After all, what better way to finish off a fine Milan Fashion Week outfit than with handmade Italian jewelry?
